ERB Monitor 7/2010
Editorial
Welcome to the third ERB Monitor edition for 2010, the e-newsletter of the Community Sector Employers Forum (CSEF) keeping you informed on essential employment law issues.
In this edition we look at some of the important HRM issues of the day which need to be considered by managers. The first article looks at some tips for employers in preventing and dealing with workplace bullying and harassment.
The second article examines the issue of transfer of undertakings which can arise when an organisation or part of an organisation is taken over by another organisation. The third article sets out some practical precautions for employers when deciding when and how often to review existing employment and health & safety policies.
The final article looks at a guide that has been produced by the health & safety authority covering slips, trips and falls in the workplace.
In the near future the CSEF intend to add a new feature to the website to highlight the “hot topics” of the day that are emerging from cases being heard at the Labour Relations Commission.
