Competency based interviews made easy

Competency based interview questions are used to make the interview process as fair as possible. Essentially the process assists the interviewer in assessing the competency levels of a potential employee.

A series of questions are targeted at each skill required to achieve effective job performance. Every job will have a set of key competencies which are necessary to do the job properly.

When you are preparing for a competency based interview the experienced interviewer will draw up a list of questions relating to each competency all directed towards ascertaining if the candidate has the necessary skills to do the job.
